Dark Melody (Paperback) by Christine Feehan

Enjoyed reading about Dayan and his lifemate. The Carpathian people, as described by Christine Feehan, have become almost real to me. I've learned about many of them and will continue to read each sequel.

The storyline is slightly different in that the main characters are facing immenent loss and the plot increases the risks. If you enjoy the Dark Series, this is a good continuation of the characters from the Dark Symphony story.
